Easter Approaches

Easter Approaches
I cannot believe we are nearly at the end of the term with the Easter holidays nearly upon us.
It has been a super week at school with lots happening.
On Monday Class 5 displayed the wonderful clocks they had made in their DT sessions and they are now proudly displayed in the school library. If you have a minute please do pop in and have a look. I know they would love to show them off!
On Tuesday the Computer club, run by our Governor Mr Mike Hennessey, shared their efforts in our achievers assembly. It was a delightful short film that they had made all about our school values. We all thoroughly enjoyed. Well done Computer Club!
On Wednesday Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children had a wonderful afternoon taking part in an egg rolling competition. Unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to hold in the playground as intended but nevertheless great fun was held by all. It was fun for me to note all the deliveries of freshly boiled eggs arriving in the morning. Thank you all who brought eggs.
Today the children are thoroughly looking forward to the Disco's both Key Stage 1 and 2 which FODS have kindly organised and to round off the week there is always Super Friday to look forward to.
I wish you all a very happy holiday.
Kind regards
Jill Gardner
