We had a fantastic trip to Caldecotte in Milton Keynes with the Year 3 and 4 children from both schools. Despite the cold, all the children made the most of all the activities, which included caving, abseiling, climbing, canoeing, fencing and paddle boarding. Getting into the wet suits was probably one of the most challenging and humorous activities for children and teachers alike! We stayed in Yurts which was very exciting and a little bit chilly! I was very proud of all the children who tackled some very challenging activities with bravery and determination; everyone was also supportive of each other. We reward our SMART values each week in assembly and all the children certainly epitomised all of them. At the first assembly of the new term, we will be recognising their self-confidence, motivation, aspirations, resilience and teamwork!
